The rewinder is a device used to rewind large rolls of paper, film, or other materials into small rolls, and its working principle is as follows:
Unwinding
- The large roll of raw material is installed on the unwinding mechanism, which is usually equipped with a driving device and a braking device. The driving device provides the initial power to enable the large roll of material to be smoothly unwound, and the braking device is used to control the unwinding speed and tension to ensure that the material maintains an appropriate tightness during the unwinding process, preventing the material from loosening or being over-stretched.
Traction
- The material after unwinding is transported through the traction mechanism. The traction mechanism is generally composed of multiple rollers, including the driving roller and the driven roller. The driving roller is driven by an electric motor and drives the material to move forward through friction, while the driven roller plays a role in supporting and guiding the material. By adjusting the rotation speed of the driving roller, the traction speed of the material can be precisely controlled to meet the requirements of different rewinding processes.
Rewinding
- Rewinding is the core working process of the rewinder. During the rewinding process, the material is wound around the rewinding roller to form a small roll. The rewinding roller is usually driven by an electric motor, and its rotation speed and torque can be adjusted according to the characteristics of the material and the rewinding requirements. At the same time, the rewinder is also equipped with a tension control system. The tension of the material is monitored in real time through sensors, and the rotation speed of the rewinding roller and the braking force of the braking device are automatically adjusted according to the set value to ensure that the tension of the material is constant during the rewinding process, so that the quality of the rewound small roll is uniform and compact.
Cutting
- When the rewinding reaches a certain length or the set roll diameter is reached, the cutting device of the rewinder will cut the material to separate the small roll from the large roll of raw material. The cutting device usually uses cutting tools or laser cutting technology, which can achieve fast and accurate cutting with a neat cut, without affecting the quality and use of the material.
Winding-up
- The small rolls after cutting are collected and sorted through the winding-up mechanism. The winding-up mechanism can be a simple tray or conveyor belt, or a complex device with automatic unloading and packaging functions. The rewound small rolls are collected and packaged according to certain specifications and quantities for easy storage and transportation.
Application fields:
Toilet Paper Production: Rewind the large rolls of raw toilet paper produced by the paper-making machine into small rolls of different specifications, such as the common household toilet paper rolls and the large rolls of toilet paper used in hotels, etc., to meet the needs of different users.
Facial Tissue Production: After rewinding the large rolls of raw paper into small rolls, through processes such as cutting and packaging, they are made into boxed or bagged facial tissues.
Production of Other Papers: For some special papers, such as cigarette paper, capacitor paper, etc., a rewinder is also needed to rewind them into small rolls that meet the production requirements for subsequent processing.
